A Health status card appeared at start-up

• Health status
• A storage check found a problem and repaired it.
• Your settings are intact - restored from my backup.
• Your coins are back to the starter set.
• Both copies of my settings storage failed their check.
• I could not set up a backup copy of your settings on this unit.

Symptoms

• At start-up, a card headed Health status with a check mark and a few lines about a storage check, a backup, or the starter set.

Cause

The ticker keeps two copies of your settings and checks both at every start. The card appears once, only when the check found something you should know. It is a record of a repair already made, not an alarm.

Fix

1. A storage check found a / problem and repaired it. / Your settings are intact - / restored from my backup. / Nothing for you to do.: nothing to do. The working copy failed and the backup stood in.
2. A storage check found both / copies of your settings / unreadable. / Your coins are back to / the starter set.: both copies failed. Open the settings page and pick your coins again, or load a saved file: Export and import settings.
3. Both copies of my / settings storage failed / their check. / Your coins look intact. / Check my settings page / to be sure.: open the settings page and look over the coin list and settings; put back anything that is wrong.
4. I could not set up a / backup copy of your / settings on this unit. / Everything works normally / - please let Lee know.: the ticker runs normally on one copy. Tell Lee: Contact.

If that didn’t work

• The card returns at every start: the storage is failing repeatedly. Export your settings so they are safe, then contact Lee with the card’s exact text and the Settings copy line from the page’s footer.
