Models and firmware versions

The model

One model ships: the CryptoTicr with a 1.54-inch square screen, 240 by 240 pixels, on an ESP8266 Wi-Fi chip. Its model number is CT-MICRO-BK. See Specifications.

The version

The Firmware line at the top right of the settings page9:41192.168.1.107

The settings page shows the version at the top right, on the Firmware: line, as a short number such as v2.08. The start screen on the glass shows the same number under the logo.

The footer of the settings page has the full build name on its Config line, for example v2.08_ST7789_S: the version first, then the build it was made for. Lee may ask for that line when you contact him.

Updates

The firmware updates itself over Wi-Fi, so the number climbs on its own and every ticker ends up on the same release. There is nothing to download or install. See Automatic firmware updates and Which firmware do I have?.
