Terms

Symbol: the coin’s short code, BTC for Bitcoin. Not unique; two coins can share one.
Price: in US dollars, from the server’s cache of CoinGecko data.
24h%: how far the price moved over the last 24 hours, counting back from now. Green or red (or the colorset’s pair) by direction.
24h Vol (V on the glass when the prefix is on): how much of the coin was traded, worldwide, in the last 24 hours.
Market Cap (M): the value of all of a coin’s coins put together, price times how many exist.
Market Cap Rank (#): the coin’s position among all coins by market cap; #1 is the biggest.
Total Market Cap: every cryptocurrency’s market cap combined, the big number on the market overview card.
BTC dom: Bitcoin’s share of the total market cap. Rising dominance means money favoring Bitcoin over the rest.
24h vol (market-wide): how much was traded across the whole market in the last 24 hours.
Sector: a family of coins with the same purpose, gaming, AI, DeFi, meme coins, and so on. The sector heat card shows the one with the biggest 24-hour move.
Stablecoin: a coin pegged to a currency such as the dollar; left out of the top-coins loader because its price does not move.
