What it shows

The Sector heat card: Hottest now, the sector’s name, its 24-hour move and its combined value

A card headed Sector Heat. The page defines the word: A "sector" is a family of coins with the same purpose, gaming, AI, DeFi, meme coins, and so on. A flame and Hottest now introduce the sector’s name (split over two rows when it is long), its 24-hour move as a percentage in the up or down color (a neutral gray with a flat bar in place of the arrow when it rounds to 0.0%), and Value, the combined market value of its coins.

The server ranks the sectors its data source tracks by their 24-hour change, ignoring sectors worth under a billion dollars so a tiny sector’s swing does not top the list, and refreshes the ranking every ten minutes. The card shows the head of that list.

The page also describes a Sector movers leaderboard card; this ticker’s screen is too small for its six rows, and the shipped firmware for this model leaves that card out.
