The control

Nighttime quiet hours → From time.

What it does

Marks the start of the dimming window in the ticker’s local time, which it works out from the server’s clock and your zone. A start equal to the end means never dim.

The choices

• Any time of day, entered as hours and minutes on the page.

On the glass

Applies within a second.

The stored key

quiet_from in the ticker’s settings, and in the file that Export writes. The shipped value is generated from the one source of defaults and shown on this page by the site, never typed here.
