Using the page from several devices

The settings live on the ticker. Every device that opens the page reads the same coins, colors and timings, and a change from one device shows on the others the next time they load or reload. There is no account and no sign-in; being on the Wi-Fi is the credential, unless a password is set.

Per device

• The unlock. With a password set, each browser asks once and then keeps its own key in that browser’s private storage. The page’s words: Open this page on another phone, or in another browser, and it asks again there. Log out here returns one browser to view-only and leaves the others alone.
• The theme of the page.
• Which sections are folded (also sent to the ticker so a fresh browser starts the same way).
• The dismissed first-visit banner.

Two devices editing at once

The page does not merge. If another device saved a coin list while yours was open, your next reload says Refreshed from your ticker, your unsaved coin changes were dropped. Save from one device at a time. See The page shows different settings than the ticker.
