Changing your home Wi-Fi's password? Tell the ticker first, change it at the router, then give the ticker the new password. Every coin and setting is kept.

Changing your home Wi-Fi's password? Tell the ticker first. On its settings page, open Global Settings, Device, Wi-Fi, then Change Wi-Fi.

Tap the network it's on now, then, I'm about to change this password.

It tells you what will happen. Tap Continue.

Now change the password in your router's app, or on its page, the way you normally would, within the next half hour.

The ticker drops off your Wi-Fi. A few minutes later it restarts, finds that the old password no longer works, and asks for the new one.

Give your phone the new password too. Then join the ticker's setup Wi-Fi, the one that starts with CT, the same way as the first time.

The setup page says what happened: I couldn't get back on your Wi-Fi.

Pick your Wi-Fi, type the new password, and tap Go.

It's back on your Wi-Fi, with every coin and setting just as they were.

Didn't warn it first? That's fine. It waits about half an hour, in case your Wi-Fi is only down for a while, then asks for the new password the same way.

To skip the wait, unplug it and plug it back in.
