Why does it show its address when I didn't ask?

Show my IP address: even with both pills off, a changed address is announced once9:41192.168.1.107

Three reasons. The commonest is that your router gave the ticker a different address than it had, while it was unplugged or quietly during the day. The ticker then shows the address as text and as a QR code once straight away and once more at its next start, because whatever you wrote down has stopped working. A small IP > note with the new address comes first.

The second is Show at start on the QR code row: with it on, the code’s first showing lands a few seconds after the first coin, so there is a way in the moment the ticker is running. The third is a save that changed the Show my IP address rows, which shows one preview so you can see what you set.
